Hello all. I am glad that I'm not the only one fighting this madness. I also believe that Advanced Config 1.1 is the culprit. I went thru this over and over trying to figure out if it was Advanced Config 1.1, 6-Button Comm Manager or registry tweaks. Since that's the only thing that I didn't install this time around it's gotta be it. I don't think just installing Advanced Config 1.1 causes the problem. My problems came into play when I used it to change registry settings (e.g. buttons in the 6-Button Comm Manager). When I make those changes the "non lazy" way everything's cool. That's just my two cents.

You know, it's too bad...other than this issue, it's a great piece of software.

wow, I'm glad others have had this problem as well. I was beginning to think I was the only one. Thanks for looking into this guys! I posted this exact problem over at xda and got no help. I am also curious about the question asked above. I have a lot of extra cab's installed, etc. and I'm lazy to PIM backup and all that. Can I just edit the cachetimer setting everyone is talking about in the registry back to it's normal setting? Where is this located? What is the normal setting?

Also, just as a side note, when my incoming calls are not working (like right now because I have Schap's 1.1 installed) it actually does work about half the time, and doesn't work the other half. Is this the same for everyone else? Or did it 100% not work all the time? curious...

If you have a data connection and get a call, you won't be able to answer. If you don't have a data connection, you can answer fine.

I do not believe tweaking the registry setting back to how it is "supposed to be" will fix it.

Thanks Wipeout. That explains what seemed to be random successful incoming calls. So if I hard reset / flash a new ROM and do not install Schap's Advanced Config, incoming calls will work again even with a data connection eh?

In fear of sounding like a noob I will also ask, what exactly does a "data connection" consist of? Does that mean ACTIVE data connection, or just having one? I am configured with DirectPush on my Exchange server... sooo...

Thanks for all the help on this topic! It's become very frustrating informing everyone I cannot receive calls, when I apparently have this amazing phone to them (after showing them pocketcm, htc album, youtube capabilities, etc.).

I believe that a hard reset is the way you have to go. I know for a fact that uninstalling the app won't fix anything. I guess on the positive side when/if you upgrade your ROM to the latest (2.17) you'll know what NOT to do.

Yes, you need to hard reset, then not install advanced config.

In terms of data connection - it's ANY data connection, active or dormant. If you have the two arrows up top (grey or white), you'll have this problem.
