Stupid noob question

So I have this great Sprint 6800, is there any way to uninstall all the Sprint Bloatware like there was with the 6700 (Total Commander->extended_rom re run all cabs exit and uninstall via add remove programs) or am I screwed with bloat? Not comfortable with changing\flashing the ROM as I don't want to end up with a $600 brick.
