Touch ROM on Mogul??

Does anyone know if this is possible or a smart idea to put the latest touch ROM on my mogul to try and fix the issues with the new ROM release?

Touch ROM on a Mogul?

This maybe a entirely stupid question, however here goes...
Is it possible to flash the Touch ROM on to the Mogul? It seems that reports show it as more stable, and has some nice features. Obviously some genius would have to tweak it to keep the benefits of the Mogul.

Any thoughts out there? I know DCD has the ROM already, and probably working away

NO. they are very different devices.. You're may as well ask if you could flash the firmware from you're microwave oven onto the device.

Are there things that are common and can be swiped. Of course, but at the level you are seeking the answer is quite distinctly NO.

I tried to flash Touch rom onto my mogul but it stucks with error. It says something like this "Not a compatible device with Touch software". Does anyone have any idea how to bypass this error? Please advise.

I'd like to find out some details regarding this too. I know there are a few Touch ROMs avaiable for other GSM devices. It should be possible for the Mogul too, especially due to similar hardware. I believe the Touch has the same Qualcomm processor as in the Titan. Now since there's an actual Touch on CDMA network, we should be able to make a dump and somehow port it over to Titan......the keyword there is "somehow"

PLEASE, DO NOT FLASH YOUR 6800 WITH A TOUCH ROM. YOU CAN BRICK YOUR PHONE AND ALL IT WILL BE GOOD FOR IS A PAPER WEIGHT.

Now, with that said, I'm working on a ROM for the 6800 that will be a touch/titan hybrid. I'm sure others are working on something similar. Have patience, I'm sure we will come up with something for you guys soon.

the "touch rom" on other devices is really just what we are talking about, they are "hybrids" where things have been taken from one rom and put on another. You cannot just Plug one rom into another.. It takes a LOT of effort to resolve things..
