HELP Lost Contacts in Mogul

I have a 6800 (Mogul) from Sprint. My screen went out. Is their a way I can get the contacts saved to a PC? My local Sprint store is telling me they cant do it without access to the screen for prompts. I have over 300 business contacts in my phone. What about a program to back them up once I do get them moved so I dont have to go through this again. Thanks for all your help

As long as the phone works, you can use ActiveSync with the computer and it will still sync your contacts. Just go into the partnership settings on the computer and make sure Contacts is checked.

What he said ^____^ it should be pretty simple. Why haven't you been syncing your phone prior to the screen going out?

Ok guys, well I guess I am going to have to classify myself as a newb on this one. I whould plug my phone into the computer and it whould sync with the Microsoft Activesync. However, I have never seen or do I see now a option for the contacts. Sorry for the newbness

Which version of Windows are you using?

I got the sync software and checked Contacts. It just sync'd. Now I dont know where my contacts are. They are not in Outlook. And now when I try and use the voice call, it gives me the 3 beep error. If I lost all my contacts I am going to flush this thing.

SOmetimes you have to synch more than once make sure u "UNCHECK" contacts from the active synch options and synch and then go back and "CHECK it"and re synch ,it should be in outlook express not the office outlook under contacts goodluck

Ok...I'm not too sure how it works with XP, but there should be a settings tab in your Active Sync for Partnership Settings. You can set what you would like to sync (emails, contacts, tasks, etc). Make sure to check "Keep the item on my device" for "if there is a conflict".

Ok, I got my new phone and I lost all my contacts.. What setting should the sync software be on to "Back up Contacts" It seems that when I add contacts to Outlook, it adds them to my ohone. However, when I add contacts to my phone and sync it, it deletes them. I cant find a setting to keep both.
