Shouldn't there be an option of being able to choose the com port? Since I upgraded to Colonels custom rom, it's not there anymore.

I gotcha - I misunderstood you. I know you probably don't want to do this but you should try another ROM (I recommend the 2.08 ROM that ImCoKeMaN put together but that's up to you). I flashed back to that ROM after "upgrading" to 2.16 and my BT8010 has worked flawlessly. It's also entirely possible that you have a lemon Mogul though and nothing can be done about that except swapping out the phone for a new one.

As far as a com port, you don't need to do anything like that so don't even worry about it.

That's what I thought about the com port, so I wasn't too worried. I will try that ROM you recommended. And no problem about the mid-understanding. I hope I didn't get on your case too much, I had a few beers and was mad at my phone.

Once again, I'm sorry. I had the ftp bookmarked, but when I went to it, the 2.08 ROM wasn't showing. If only I had refreshed the page, I would have seen it. My bad. I'm really not this stupid.

Well, I tried the 2.08 and no luck. I must have a lemon. I just find it weird that I can hear everything through my BT headset up until when I'm supposed to start hearing the ringing.

Thank you all for your help.

Do you even hear the little beep that tells you the call is connecting? It sounds like calls just aren't being passed to your headset for some reason. I don't think there's a setting for that anywhere but it's weird that everything else seems to work except for that. When you initially paired the headset to the phone, did you select both profiles?

Yup, I can hear the beep after I press "TALK". I guees it sounds like "BLOOOOOP". But then nothing! I also selected "Hands Free" and "Stereo" when I paired them. Any thoughts?

Wow - I'm dumbfounded. Once you hear the "bloop" (that's a perfect word for it by the way), can you hear the phone ringing on the handset itself? Also, have you tried initiating a call from the headset using the built-in phone book feature?

I'm sure you already did this but reset the BT8010 so it's back to factory defaults and remove the pairing from the phone. Then re-pair it and try again. Also, what firmware is the BT8010 running?

After the bloop, there is nothing until I hit the end button. I'm also running 1-40-00 on the Jabra (I'm pretty sure that's the lastest, I just got it a few days ago). I'll need to upload a contact to the headset and try that. I'll try to do that tonight, but will probably have to wait until tomorrow.

Thanks for your help!
