The issues on our phones are know issues yet they won't voluntarily swap devices. I'm all for an class action...

I'm tired of Sprint's BS! I tried to get mine replaced, and this is what I got:


"Thank you for contacting Sprint. I will be happy to assist you with the bluetooth capable phone.

Firstly, I sincerely apologize as your phone does not meet your expectations.

Further, I noticed that the Mogul is a bluetooth capable handset and you can use this feature on it. However, as you are not able to do so, I request you to visit any nearest Sprint Store to get the phone checked.

As we people at eCare are not equipped with the tools and equipments which are required to check the handset, it would not be possible for us to perform your request on the phone remotely. Otherwise, I would have not recommended you to the store. Please click on the hyperlink below to find a Sprint Store near you:

Further, I noticed that as per the Handset Upgrade Program the account is not eligible for a rebate on purchase of a new phone. However, you can get a new phone and return the old phone.

Alternatively, you can also replace the phone as Total equipment Protection (TEP) program is added to your number. It is offered as a bundle that combines insurance (ERP) and service repair (ESRP).

- ERP covers lost, stolen or physical damage.

- ESRP covers mechanical or electrical failure and routine maintenance.

It means that your phone is covered under TEP. The phones that are covered under TEP are handled by third party called Asurion. Therefore, to get the claim for your phone, I request you to call Asurion at (800) 584-3666.

The Asurion timings are:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Central Time)
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Central Time)

the color change thing is addressed in 2.16 but there are other problems... 2.16 is considered a broken ROM unless someone figures out a way to get certain things working...
