Broken touch screen replacement

Hello...I scratched my screen and there was a gouge in it so i peeled it off. because i am a dumbass i later found out it was the touchscreen portion of the LCD. i thought i could do without it for a while, until i found out a lot of third party programs i have need it. I went on ebay and found there are two touchscreen/LCD versions...a generation 2 black ribbon by Tippoy and a gen 1 gold flex ribbon by samsung. well none of them look like the lcd/touch combo that i have in my HTC mogul. all of the main ribbons look thicker in width. i tried buying just the touchscreen from a seller in in china....

....but the ribbon was too big (thicker in width).

now i am stuck with buying a lcd/touch combo, but dont know which one to buy. On both the black and gold ribbon versions, the main connector ribbon looks thicker than mine in the pictures. anyone change out their screens on a new htc mogul and where did u buy the screens if you did? Thanks


Here is what my setup looks like (the touch screen replacement i bought on ebay is to the left on the first pic...all pics have the new noncompatible touchscreen next to the unit...i threw the old one out)
