Its a known problem with Gmail's imap implementation... google knows about it, and is working on the fix (since end of October :( )

Plain text emails come in correctly. We all just found this same issue on the 6700 WM6 rom too. pop3 works right (but is pop3, which is so icky....)

Hang in there for the fix or get people to not email you html encoded mail ;)

Had to reset my gmail opn my phone after it upgraded to imap. Now that and my yahoo is pushed to my phone....

But regular email is so BORING! lol.

One of the things I love about my big fancy 550 dollar brick Mogul (haha) is that I can get HTML mail lol.

I use Seven push email.

I use the mobile Gmail interface by opening gmail.com with IE. Works great!

Now, delete your Gmail account from your phone. Then create a new account. Do not select Gmail as account type at the beginning of the setup. Just an email account. If you select Gmail you will not get the IMAP option.

Awesome, thanks Killabee. It was really annoying not being able to have any synchronization between my gmail on my phone and on the web with the POP3 mail, but like most problems with the Mogul, I had just sort of given up and gotten used to it.

Of course, it would be nice to be able to get those super-fancy and hi-tech "html" emails, but who am I kidding - it just wouldn't seem right if something on the Mogul worked exactly how I'd like it to.
