I found out, sorry...
washedscreen.jpg is what it looks like now... 2040_small.jpg is what its supposed to look like... I have tried copying it to the storage card and "Selecting as background" to no avail. Any help? |

Ok I see what you mean, I tested it out and it did the same on mine.
I could have sworn there was an option to adjust the transparency of the custom background image, but I couldn't find it... maybe it was on my 700wx? Anyone else know about this? I'll keep playing with it and post any findings. |

JUST figured it out. It was setting the picture as a background with a transparency lvel at like 60%. Dunno where that came from, but I corrected it, and all is well... Here is what it looks like now...

Put it any where on you device (including storage card). Open File Explorer, and find the pic. Tap & hold, select "Set As Today Backgound". Then it will ask you for the Transparency %, 0% is what you want. Then hit OK, and now you will not have a faded backgrond image on your today screen. EDIT: Glad you figured it out End effect. The should be in a FAQ, as it is brought up from time to time.
