Help I just ran the new rom and my storage card was encrypted...help me
 
I just ran the new rom and did not unencrypt my storage card from the old. Is there any way I can view these files now?? Please help.

did u check the box where it says "encrypt files placed on storage cards"? It's unchecked after the ROM upgrade.

yep...did not work....I should have unencrypted them before I did the new rom...I really need those files

you may want to consider flashing the prior rom which you had and make sure your device id is the same. Encrypted files are opened just like other files, provided you are using the device that encrypted them. so there must be something with the hardware / rom version and what not to encrypt otherwise how does it know the device?.

hmmm...there has to be away around it...I know microsoft/sprint HAVE to had thought of every possible scenero....Only thing I can suggest now is contacting Sprint or maybe someone else on here has anymore ideas....

I think the only option would have been Sprite backup... They have an encryption recovery as part of their restore... Other than that I think that you might be up the creek...

OR you can try flashing back to the ROM you were using when you encrypted the files...thats my last idea lol
