Called sprint yesterday about the freezing issue and they told me that the rom i was using wasnt listed in the system yet. The rep said he saw an update scheduled for after october 2nd but did not see that it had been released yet. Getting pretty sick of this phone and its quirks. Also, anyone see the new LG Rumor ?

Well, working on installation right now and will try to restore with SPB Backup rom update feature and see how it goes.

Haven't seen anyone else post this yet. New ROM recognized and read/wrote with my 6GB SanDisk card without installing the SDHC777 cab that I needed with the old ROM. Windows does not show the dll's in the SDHC777 cab but my card works fine! You would have thought that would have been important enough to mention on HTC's list of features for the new ROM!

This new rom update has cuased bluetooth to shut off itself every 1 or 2 minutes. I talked to Sprint tech support today and it seems that they don't know anything about the new rom update. I was aked to contact HTC about the matter. Does anybody have any clue?

I am having this exact same problem. I backed my mogul up with sprite, flashed the new rom, and did the rom backup on sprite, but my settings still say I'm running the old rom. anyone have any guesses? I'm pretty new to this stuff, but picking things up quickly. Thanks for all the help.

Key: Search and Read Threads.

DO NOT restore a backup image on a upgraded firmware.
If you do it, you may overwrite the newer files with the old ones. In a perfect world, it should not happen, but seems like it is happening!

I did this and first it corrupted my Bluetooth, turned the wifi on permantly and now it's completely crashed the phone and all I get is a blinking RED led. I can't figure out what to do

try a hard reset, repeat and rinse as needed.
