What do I tell to an iPhone user who drops my Mogul?
...and then goes on about saying it's cheap/worthless phone (isn't even comparable to iPhone)? :neutral: What exactly do I say to these a$$h@ts?

Look them square in the eye, grab them by the #$(*#&$ squeeze tightly and say. Boa.. you's a spaceal kinda supid aintcha!

Ask him to turn on the flash on his phone. Ask him to copy and paste something from a web page into an e-mail. Ask him to type without looking. Find a list of the things the iPhone is notorious for lacking and compare to your phone's abilities.
Or, just laugh, shake your head, and say "It's just not worth it. I'll let your enjoy your little 'phone.'" |
I'm not sure my Mogul is "better" than an iPhone. I mean, if what I wanted were an iPod that could surf the web and make the occasional phone call then the Mogul would be a very disappointing substitute. Since I've got little interest in carrying around an iPod and need to be able to look up drug coverage information many times a day, make calls, handle email, and take pictures of odd rashes, the Mogul is a much better choice for me.
Getting emotional about inanimate objects such as PPC's is not a winning strategy in life, nor is being very concerned about someone else's opinion of your phone, socks, car, sunglasses, etc. The dropping part would have pissed me off. However, it's fairly likely that the denigration of your Mogul was the dropper's way of making his offense less unforgivable - "if the thing was worthless, then my dropping it wasn't really that bad." Irrational, of course, but that's the way humans work. |

Best thing to do in a situation like this is to Slide open you keyboard and open your exploror and navigate to youtube.com. Then play a video. Iphones have to go thru the crappy youtube/Mobile.com crap. heheehhe pathetic.

SINNN - I can't get youtube videos to play on my Mogul. When I click on a video I get this message, "You either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe Flash Player. Get the latest Flash Player." I get the same message using Opera Mini Beta 4 and with IE. Using IE, I also get a message the rtsp file can't be opened when I click on the video. How are you able to watch youtube videos? Thanks.

very easy to watch the normal youtube. You need 2 files. ppcgeeks has them... ill look for a link.

Ok.. ill throw in my insult since everyone else is doing it. I think you should have grab him by his testicles and slam them down on the ground. Then stomp them hard untill they look like pancakes. Then ,with a spatula unstick them from the ground and throw them in a barbe q grill. turn them over every 2 minutes. then prepare some Buns,tomatoes,bacon,ketchut,mustard,lettuce and some seasoning. Then once the testicles look well done ,slap them all into a nice nutpatty burger. Then.. tell hikm thisis his lunch.

Clearly the iPhone owner was jealous hence his attempt to break your competitive piece of hardware. I dont think they can really help themselves. They had to wait soooo long for an overhyped-underdelivered piece of hardware its bound to drive a few to foaming at the mouth rage fits over something so obviously superior as an HTC product :-)
I see this myself often. In fact i have taken to carrying a 1st gen Ipod as a sizeable weapon for my own self-defense just to beat the moron-iphone owners back to their tinker toy playground. tis true....iPhone....even babies need toys ;-) |

Name one thing the Iphone does that we can't do with a Titan. Now name as many things as you can, that we can do with the Titan, that we can't do with the Iphone. Get my point? Maybe you should point that out to him.

Opinions very and people are entitled to thiers. However If someone were to actually drop mine intentionally I would tell him that he might as well get used to liking the Mogul... because he just bought one.

Win Mobile is the way to go. IPhone sucks, Sluggish net, not even half as much software for OSX the Win Mobile. Its endless with winmobile, and also for all the people who cant afford software, there is always a lot of hacked crap out there for the broke people |
