Are you saying that iPhone owners are misinformed? And why do they have to be idiots?

Flashlight can be done on the iPhone.
Copy / paste- we know that cant.....yet!
I havent seen ONE Mogul user type without looking at the keyboard either.

Not everyone paid $599 for an iPhone- remember the price dropped. I paid full price for my Mogul and dont use documents or spread sheets on this device. Stuff like that, IMO, is best done with a real monitor.

None of us were there, so we have no way of knowing whether your Mogul was dropped on purpose or not. If it had been on purpose, the last thing I think I'd be doing is posting to find out what other people think about it.

The other thing is that you mentioned that the person who dropped it has an iPhone. In essence, why does that even matter? What if they didnt have an iPhone- would you still be here looking for opinions.

I'm saddened by many of the responses to this thread. Everyone buys what they buy for themselves, and not for someone else. iPhone owners tend to act like they are in a world amongst themselves, but so do many owners of others device.... just look at Treo users who think the world revolves around Treos! You cant tell these people anything.

Most of you, based on your replies, have very little love for iPhone owners/users. I dont and wont understand why anyone that chooses to use an iPhone has to be demeaned in such a way as presented here in this forum. The responses here have been disgraceful.

Not everyone embraces the Mogul or winblows devices period. I hope you all come down off your pedestals and stop being so closed minded.

I have a Mogul and iPhone.... does that make me some sort of idiot.
I paid $600 for the Mogul and could throw it out the window.
I paid $400 for the iPhone and have been using it since!

I dont think I turned to any of you here to ask "what should I get!"

I would have had more respect for the OP's plight had he not made a point of saying that Mogul was dropped by an iPhone!

 HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHA.

ok, I'm done. Your turn.

Scandalex just did the best shut-down job I've ever seen in my life. Kudos to him.

somebody has an iPhone up their ass

B18DelSolT 10-21-2007 05:36 PM

you know what you do, you ask to see his iphone break it, and then tell him, have fun fixing that, while i walk into my local sprint store and get this fixed for free lmao. for ScandaLex, well when you battery dies have fun shipping your phone out to apple to replace that battery.

Win Mobile is the way to go. IPhone sucks, Sluggish net, not even half as much software for OSX the Win Mobile. Its endless with winmobile, and also for all the people who cant afford software, there is always a lot of hacked crap out there for the broke people

I think a lot of us are saying that anyone who drops your device (Mogul or otherwise) and then goes on to criticize it as "cheap and worthless" is certainly misinformed and quite possibly an idiot. Both are good devices but both have their shortcomings. But, as this is a PPC forum, there are bound to be more pro Mogul responses.

The next generation of hardware and software will most certainly take the best of both platforms. Look at what is already available: Touch scrolling in SBP's latest Pocket Plus release, a working release touch scroll picture viewer from Pocket CM, Grumps iPhone by WOW to name just a few.

Do I want an iPhone? No.
Am I glad there's an iPhone to spur development of better PPC products? You Bet!

As a business owner, I can tell you nothing keeps me trying to improve my business like the thought of my competition taking away my customers.

I never said all iPhone owners are misinformed. Few are, the ones I've met so far.

None of us were there, so we have no way of knowing whether you never saw a Mogul user typing without looking. If you had never seen a mogul user without typing, the last thing I think I'd be doing is posting to find out what other people think about it.

^^ That's how your logic is for arguing bro. ^^

 Read my OP. I brought up the iPhone because he compared the iPhone to my Mogul first.

Opinions on what? I was just looking for reactions.

Get out more, get some fresh air, you won't regret it or be sad. Trust me. You are reading too much into this thread.

Is iPhone better than Mogul? Yes, in some aspect (like design) but Mogul is not "worthless or cheap." That's what we are discussing, read the OP.

No one said "everyone embraces the Mogul." You are the one who just made this statement and now you are arguing it yourself. Congrats.

Throw it out the window? That does make you an idiot. Mogul is a good phone, give some credit instead of "throw it out the window."

We are not the ones that are saying iPhone is a cheap/worthless phone. We give it some credit unlike you who would "throw (mogul) out the window."

We never said you did. :)

If the person who dropped my phone did not own an iPhone, of course I would disregard his opinion because he has never owned an iphone or a Mogul. Thus his opinion has no credibility.

So there goes your argument.

Man, it felt like I was on Bill O'Reilly reading you post.

TheBundo 10-21-2007 07:28 PM

Why would a Mogulian even associate with an iPhonehead?
