Battery always shows 100%

I just got my Mogul yesterday and today is the first time I've got to mess with it and set it all up. It's been off the charger all day today, but the battery is still showing 100%. Has anyone else ran into an issue like this?

I've installed Resco explorer 2007, Resco Registry, Resco today plugin, MemMaid, and the youtube programs. I've also done a couple of registry tweaks such as the sms notification popup, bluetooth stereo settings, resized tool bars, picture flip, and vibrate strength.

I can't imagine any of those programs or tweaks would cause the battery to show 100% all the time. Any help or suggestions are are appreciated. I may have to do a hard reset on the phone. Its hard to believe it would need that since I just took it out of the box yesterday.
