There's a lot going on around here that apparently the folks in the thread are unaware of. A lot of great developments are slowing as those involved are getting disgruntled and frustrated with the way things work around here, and are moving to other forums.

This makes me very sad, as I was really just starting here after many years of XDA, Hofo, and others. I'm not giving up yet, but I must admit that I'm starting to lose faith in this message board and many of its regulars.

You have to love the dorky e-drama. I cant imagine how ANYTHING about the forums could make someone pout like a 15 year old. You encounter jackasses everywhere you go every day. Deal with it...

How about you volunteer the amount of time that DCD has here, and then see how you like it when you feel unappreciated?

Some treat this almost like a volunteer job that you're not getting paid for... DCD did a lot of work and listened to what users wanted, and treated it like it was his job to support these roms. Why? Because he thought he was helping the community, and that's a nice feeling. But then suddenly that whole world comes crashing down around you... you feel like you put in all those hours for what?

Imagine you volunteered all your spare time to something in your local community, and found out that the people in charge didn't appreciate what you were doing.
I'm sorry, this is not e-drama. That would upset anyone.

Building ROMs is a very time intensive project. I can only imagine trying to build one with quality and having people hound you for the latest release.

I dont see how 1 or 2 lame users could make him feel "unappreciated." All I ever saw was praise for his work and ROMs. I myself made a post praising his work and indicating I awaited his update. You just have to ignore some people.

I hope he reconsiders...

whys everyone getting so bent out of shape? he didnt stop making roms and theres nothing in ppcgeek.coms rules and regs that you can only have a membership to THIS forum. hes over at xdadevelopers and his latest is posted.

i agree its a loss for ppcgeeks but half the stuff you see in the software section is from xda developers. so think of them as a 2 for 1 deal lol...

Wow, ehanhan must also have insulted the Sprint/HTC ROM development team very early in their alpha testing of the 2.16 release. They got so ed with the whole Mogul community by that, they all just decided to work on the Touch for the next 6 months. I wish they had just gone over to xda.

Is there anyway to get the Voicemail item back on your today page with this ROM? I really miss that
