What I don't get is the fact that people are name-calling over the internet. I can understand that colonel should be upset over what dcd did, but it didn't mean that you should of said what you did.

We should be working together on these ROMs, not bashing other people's work. The differences between all the ROMs made should make us share the ideas.

While I can't praise either of your actions, I still like dcd's ROMs and I look forward to them!

anyone who contributes to this community like dcd who makes roms should not be blasted.

Scratching my head... Somebody insults DCD (warranted or not) and he bails on the community. ehanhan's comment was insulting but the likes of which are bound to occur in internet forums. In the end it is DCD who I am disappointed with for being so sensitive. Regardless, thanks for the nice but short ride DCD.

ehanhan, when can we expect your first ROM release of this effort which is much desired to be continued?

If you liked DCD's clean ROM, I would suggest you look at no2chem's ROMs as DCD based his off those. If you want more built in stuff you can look at Colonel's or wait for the kitchen whenever it gets released.

Actually stroths, I made the jump to no2chem's ROM last night! It's pretty good... I just wish I grasped some of the steps of the ROM making process better. I would love to make my own ROM.

dcd's actions were not based only on what happened in the colonel thread. DCD is very patient and rather selfless when it came to roms for the public. Its amazing that after so much praise, so many of you would suddenly turn on him like that.

There's a lot going on around here that apparently the folks in the thread are unaware of. A lot of great developments are slowing as those involved are getting disgruntled and frustrated with the way things work around here, and are moving to other forums.

This makes me very sad, as I was really just starting here after many years of XDA, Hofo, and others. I'm not giving up yet, but I must admit that I'm starting to lose faith in this message board and many of its regulars.
