have you tried to connect to the serial port? when i had played with as over bt (long time ago) i thought mine always showed 'serial' instead of 'activesync'. but obviously something changed if it was one way in 1.5.0 and different now. i just cant figure out what could have possibly affected that.

Yeah when I connect to the 'serial port' it is never recognized in activesync and won't synch.

Is there supposed to be a 1 pixel multi colored line at the very top of the screen with 1.5.2 custom? It's very distracting.

That's a battery meter I believe, that's the only thing stopping me from using the custom rom. Is there a way to remove once the 1.52 custom rom is installed? don't feel like flashing my phone just to to find out you can't get rid of that.
