Thumbs up Bluetooth

DCD,
I just read that the gurus have acquired the bluetooth files from the touch. Do you have any plans on adding this to your ROM? I have been dealing with the 2.16 downfalls until this weekend when I plan to try out yours. If you are having any success with the touch files, then I'll hold off a few days.

Thanks again!!

thanks nauticus,

so basically when these ROMs are custom built you cant remove what was added, because there is nothing in the "add programs" list.. its kinda like doing a unattended install in reg. windows, or making a image

DCD, your ROM is built from 2.16? correct? I though people where having major problems with this ROM..did you change some things

my rom is made up of:
alltel 2.14 drivers and apps(mms)
a mixup of alltel and sprint provisioning i created
OS 18521.0.7.0 that i ported from Wizard
no2chems xip which=sprint 2.16 with most of the 5.2.1921 kernel brought in

i need a modified (preferably 5.2.1933) alltel 2.14 xip to fix some things, and i have been unable to create it myself.

i am glancing at the touch stuff and the internet sharing over wifi but kind of taking a break

is this rom carrier specific? I have an alltel 6800, and would like to install a clean rom. It appears to me that this one has sprint specific settings in it?

Thanks,

Marlin

Hi Marlin,

It will work with alltel, but the settings are for sprint. I would like to create a package for alltel carrier. If you could let me know what settings on my rom need to be adjusted, I can package it.

SPB Bakcup worked great for me on this rom. Try re-flashing the rom and then let it boot, hard reset again, let it boot, then run your SPB backup. It should be back to normal. Unless of course your backup is no good.

I have the same issue with the comm manager. if you happen to open the comm manager by pressing the side button once, from then on if i close a program with the keyboard slide out the comm manager is right underneath the program.
