as for devicelock, that is by design kinda, i had tried newer versions of it in the past and liked the plain and simple version, so i kept it. i could switch that out easily too.
@ Device Lock - no worries. I like the latest version and it installs just fine.

@ Comm Manager - I'll see if I can reproduce it and get back to you. Depending on how much work I have over the next few days, I'll hard reset and see if it comes back. I too like that comm manager the best.

I too have had the comm manager pop up randomly. Still haven't figured out why it does that?.. I tried a hard reset, but it's just a random occurance.

thanks for this..so far so good..
I just have to small issues

1- In the homeplugin, when i add a favorite person i can only add the default #, cant change it to work,mobile2,etc

2- when im on the phone dialer screen, i use to be able to type in one of my contacts name and it would show in the blue section of the dialer..it would also work if i typed in numbers too, it would show whatever contact has those numbers

anyway to fix these??
thanks

To me it seems that it happens when I open or am running a program.

@ 1 - if you hit and hold on the person's name, the default contacts app will open and you can call the number you want through there. The default is the mobile number and I don't think you can change that.

@ 2 - the speed dial option is disabled. I think there is a reg entry to enable it, but I don't have it handy.

you can go into the dialer and change smart dialer options without touching reg manually

the smartdial worked, thanks

James, if your on the dialer screen, hit menu - smart dialing options

James i tried what u said about the fav. people list but still no luck.. I remember on my prev. ROM (sprint 2.16) i installed this plugin manually and it would give me the option on what number i want and also show the icon next to my fav. people on what number was stored, work, mobile icon

@sweethip:

The difference in the favorite people screen is that the rom comes with v1.5 of the HTC Home plugin, which I don't think allowed the multiple phone numbers per contact. v2.0 allows the multiple numbers (press and hold to pick a number other than default) and can be found over at XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=327646
