on the sharing over wifi, it looks like they hacked a dll to include most of the changes? how do you guys feel about using that? basically is anyone using BT PAN for internet sharing?
i haven't had any of the trouble with internet sharing with the new 2.16 rom that i received with the previous version...Like i said you don't necessarily need to include it, that's your call. i just would like to install it as an option if someone needed or wanted.....

Once again, we appreciate your dedicated efforts, thank you...

ICS; ## Codes

dcd-

Thanks for the very prompt response.

Re: ICS, hacked dll may be way to go. But, you may want to wait for TalynOne's efforts (he did say one day or so) before you implement it. In meantime, rolling out the newer ICS (Saridnour ROM, or 2.16) may be the way to go for your next build. My two cents.

Re: ##Codes, do those work, or are those broken in your ROM? Just curious. And, if broken, what can I help you with to help make them work?

Thanks again for a great ROM.

they work, but you need to push send following the number instead of #

example: ##33284(send)

dcd... it would be great if you could include both ics and wmodem or make seperate cabs available to install either... that way everyone is happy.

The best rom so far is the rc5

DCD,

Again, awesome ROM. I agree with pro_b... rc5 is great for me so far.

Question: would you consider doing something like Colonel's ROM and having a menu of what programs to install after hard-reset? That way we can choose whether to install things, plus they'd be installed after the flash, so they would be un-installable.

Thanks for your help so far.

Thx for efforts!

Broken ## Codes

dcd-

Thanks for the update re: ## Codes. The info you gave about hitting 'send' instead of # for the last # in the sequence (i.e., ##XX. . . X#) definitely helped out.

So, I tried out all the ## Codes I know about, and came up with the following:

## Codes for Mogul that work:
##PRL# (allows you to update roaming list with a .prl file)
##PST# (phone support tool, runs \windows\epst.exe)
##(Your MSL)# (NAM programming, like all spcs phones)
##33284# (debug mode, runs \windows\fieldtrial.exe)
##DIAG# (diagnostics mode, i think it does same thing as on 6700)

## Codes for Mogul that don’t work:
##3282# (sprint ##DATA)
##786# (Reverse Logistics Support)

Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you fix the ## Codes that don't work.

Thanks again for a wonderful ROM, though; it has made my Mogul amazingly usable.

Is there a way to add the startup animation such as the one that came with the new Sprint ROM 2.16? The HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\StartupAnimation\ is blank. THere are no keys in that folder. If someone with a working Animated Splash screen can send me all the keys in that folder, I can try to duplicate them in this ROM and see if it works.

Also, I forgot to copy the SPCS_startup.gif from Sprint's 2.16 ROM so if someone who is still running that can post that here, it would save me the trouble to having to flash back to that just for that gif file. Thanks a bunch guys!
