edit: apps now out of clean rom and into custom rom

To fix internet issues I had to flash back to the official Sprint ROM, and then back to this.
I noticed that then My radio was the old one, so I flashed back to Sprint, then Alltel and then this one, and now i have the Alltel bootscreen and radio 1.40

How come your ROM doesn't upgrade the radio, or the bootscreen ? (or is it a problem on my end)

i was going to wait until the oct 22nd update but doesn't look thats gonna come through, so i think i'm gonna go ahead and try your ROM out DCD

I need to find that internet sharing app too, i'm still running my stock Sprint Rom, anyway to extract it before i make the plunge or has anyone already done it?

I can't argue that Internet Sharing is very buggy, but it is free (unlike PdaNet) and doesn't require any drivers that are difficult to find (like Wmodem). If anybody has the modem drivers for the Titan, Wmodem would be a viable option, but otherwise, I'll need to go back to the OEM Alltel ROM, possibly WM5 for memory's sake.

i thought wmodem was builtin to the telus rom when i looked at it. maybe i can grab that. id really like to use something other than internet sharing, if possible.

syxbit, some people want one bootscreen or radio over another and i decided to flash only the os part with my rom, so as not to interfere with that. there is a rar in my dir for the radio 1.40 flash only, and there were some zips for htc and sprint splash screens that i can reupload. it didnt make sense to me to stick a splash screen or mandatory radio rom into a "clean" rom.

paul_hammons original dialer pointed to image files in \phoneskin.
i found it easier to integrate the dialer straight to \windows
the images are all stored in \windows, and the reg keys from pauls dialer are updated to point there instead. you could overwrite the files in \windows or update the reg keys to point to a different location like \phoneskin

you could also just install pauls dialer over the top of my included version if you dont want to manually do it.

Hey everyone. Hey dcd. We've chatted a few times. I love your work and think it's great. Internet Sharing is definitely a loser for me. I'll try to contact you later today regarding wmodem. I think that it is way superior to Internet Sharing.

question for u dcd, i have ur original clean rom not the newer one. im using a sprint mogul rite now and i realized that the mms wasnt working. i installed the ppcgeeks sprint mms cab and now my option for pics/video has disappeared. any idea what happened?

OK, I have a lil issue, but am not sure the cause yet. I get this rom all flashed, then I think that once I try to setup sync with computer, it gets all messed up.
I can no longer access anything in the programs tab of start menu. nothing works, just the phone. Then I have to hard reset to fix. I have deleted all old connections with mogul and PC.
