removing the hard case - how?

This might be a silly question, but any tips on removing a hard shell case on an Ozone? I bought a cheap one off eBay to be a backup to my Imagio and it came shipped in the hard case. Haven't heard back from the seller on how to get it off yet.

Seems like a two piece, but I can't figure out how to break it in two.
