oh yeah I did that cuz the instructions for flashing the ROM told me to, but I had no idea what it did

yeah now I am rocking an HTC Hero on eclair

after some tweaks its very fast and smooth.

The Mytouch UI over donut really sucks, I don't know how anyone can run this phone stock for more than 2 hours.

if you know of some cool/smooth widgets please do tell, and any apps I must have.

How did you get an Eclair build running on your myTouch? Or is it a first-gen model (no headphone jack)?
