RUIM need helpI

i have been looking onto getting a new phone, but i prefer to run on a small budget. i am looking into the kaiser but i am running on verizon and have no intention to change. i have looked into getting an RUIM in hope to use it on verizon in the U.S. . i have done research, but most sites said only china has incorperated it into their phones. i am not sure if that means not anyone use it for cdma, or if it just means it hasnt been commercialized for any other cdma providers. help would be greatly appreciated
