Re: Verizon Tethering (Imagio)
I've been using the HTC WMwifirouter and it works fine. I don't use it that much so amounts of data are not an issue.

Re: Verizon Tethering (Imagio)
If you have an "Unlimited" data package, there is actually a 5GB cap then they start charging you. I have this direct from Verizon. When I am on the road I watch movies and my DVR at home over my Imagio, and wanted to be sure there would not be an issue.
As for tethering, I have been doing it USB now for 2 months with no extra charges, even though I watch movies and have downloaded 2GB of navigation data to put on my storage card.

Re: Verizon Tethering (Imagio)
We do this all the time with the iPod Touch.
Install the .cab I attached then just find the application in Programs. Application is called Wifi Internet Sharing. Just set it up with the simple on screen directions. Credit goes to Tom_Codon over at XDA. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...99#post4170499 |

Re: Verizon Tethering (Imagio)
I also use Tom Condon's HTC WiFi Router. It's simple to use, it allows multiple WiFi connections, has great range, and best of all, it's free. Make sure you get the version that creates the shortcut in your Apps menu.

Re: Verizon Tethering (Imagio)
the backlight won't turn off automatically now even when the phone's locked. Is there a way around that besides shutting it off manually? (i.e. holding down on the power button and select turn screen off)

Re: Verizon Tethering (Imagio)
Does anyone know how to get the Bluetooth PAN option to appear in addition to the USB tethering through the standard Windows Mobile Internet Sharing? I did find a mention of the BluetoothPanEnable registry setting, but that still didn't give me the option.
