SPEEEED Up Your Imagio!

I have been using this aoo called speed booster (see link below) and the imagi feels like it got a processor upgrade! And the memory has stayed at 54-57 while watching movies with wm player. The overall performance is amazing!

Try these setting IF you choose to download the app. Btw, posted a picture showing a performance test the app did of my phone. I have no idea if those are good specs but the 1 pic is before and the 2 pic is after the new setting. Does not show much but I swear the speed is awesome!

Here are the setting I changed:

VIDEO: I LOWERED IT TO 0 TO SAVE BATTERY. WILL HAVE TO BENCHMARD WITH IT ALL THE WAY UP AND WILL POST A 3RD PIC WHEN I CAN.

DISABLE WINDOWS ANIMATION.

INCREASE FILE SYSTEM CACHE

INCREASE FILE FILTER CACHE

INCREASE INTERNET CACHE LIMIT (HAVE NOT USED INTERNET YET TO SEE WHATS THE DIFFERENCE).

SHOW BATTERY METER. AWSOME LITTLE OPTION THAT SHOWS A ORANGE YELLOW GREEN LINE THAT SHOWS YOUR STATE OF BATTERY JUICE. ITS SITS ON THE TOP NICELY!

If you try this app and find other setting please post here. And if you buy the app you get even more settings to play with! Im happy the way it is now, but if anyone buys the app and says the imagio goes even faster doing this or that with the full version I will buy it!

TRY IT!

You can make a lot of them with the Advance Configuration Tool as well.

Yeah some of these are old tweaks that do help a little bit. I used ACT to change the following values (Can be done purely in registry as well):

Under Performances:

File System Filter Cache: 4096 sectors
Glyph Cache: 32KB

Re: SPEEEED Up Your Imagio!

I have actually used SpeedBooster for a long time on my Touch Pro and now My Imagio and have noticed that it help and also enjoy the Battery indicator on the top of the screen. It doesn't cost anything unless you want the program to monitor more applications.

Re: SPEEEED Up Your Imagio!

All I am saying is 15 euros for that software is a bunch of bologna. Anyone can do what you do with your program with other tools that are available for free.

All personal "attacks" aside, I just don't find justification in using that or paying for it. Sorry for this "personal attack"

And not exactly. I go to college and am majoring in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Programming. I'll have my degrees by my 21st birthday. I also do hold a full time job as well along with writing free lance code.

In my spare time I also evaluate networks security (my work is the main one) and I tend to bypass limited trials and activation required trials such as yours. Just as a hobby though.

There's also a system cache one which I set to 2MB. Basically, whatever the "suggested" settings were in the performance tab

Yeah I left that one on Auto for now. Might change it and see if it does anything noticeable.
