Re: Do your Imagio have horrible memory usage?
The only programs I have running all the time is Second Today and Gyrator2. I do have alot of tweaks/ apps installed but this device is supposed to be the same internal specs as the Touch Pro and I never had problems like this. Including these 2 I have a total or 46 installed currently. The lowest the device has been is 80% and that is after the device closes Second Today and Gyrator2. I can live without Second Today, however I need some sort of program to actually rotate the device. I have tried GSen as well if anyone is wondering.

Re: Do your Imagio have horrible memory usage?
Check out the last post in this thread for a couple programs that help drive down startup RAM usage on the device.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=90780 Should help 10-15% or so, but it does tend to creep up the longer the device is on. |

Re: Do your Imagio have horrible memory usage?
Originally it would run at 70% with no programs on, after running the tweaks it starts at 47-51% but slowly creeps up to 60% even without any programs running.

Re: Do your Imagio have horrible memory usage?
Yeah, apparently the stock rom has a bit of "memory leak". Going to have to wait for the custom roms to be built to get that cleaned up. Otherwise, using that "CleanRAM" and/or soft resetting is the only way to get it back down.

Re: Do your Imagio have horrible memory usage?
thanks for point it out. I have ran ClearRam before on my Touch Pro so I know how it works. I am currently at 58% bu I have uninstalled Second Today and Gyrator for the time being.

Re: Do your Imagio have horrible memory usage?
Its a gwes.exe leak on the ram. Its in the windows build. It can be reduced by a custom rom with a newer SYS.

Re: Do your Imagio have horrible memory usage?
don't kill gwes, it is a system process, stands for Graphics, Windowing and Events Subsystem.
Using SPB 3.5 may take care of the memory runaway issue...this has been a issue since 2006 |
