I just packed my TP2 up as well and will be sending it back tomorrow. I dont need the qwerty keyboard and would rather have a slimmer lighter phone.

Re: Verizon Imagio Pic/Specs - NEW PICS

i dont know if anyone has any official release date info yet, but I just found out, through a very reliable source, the the launch date for VZW will be 10/6 for tele sales and internet sales. It will be available 10/20 for the rest of VZW locations. And it will release with Vcast TV available. I still cant get a price for it from the source.

Why would there be more development for the TP2? They run the same OS, have the same resolution, are world phones, etc. The only difference is the TP2 has a slide out keyboard. The Imagio only has a software keyboard. It's like the diamond/touch pro. Same phone, same available programs, etc.

Sorry, more ROM development.
I was just meaning this phone is not gonna be as popular as the TP2, I mean seriously, its coming out in a week were just now getting some definate facts on it.
I would love to see a video review or a full spec sheet or something. but at least I read somewhere that they will be in stores by the 20th, I still havent found a TP2 in a store to look at.

That's the one thing that's really making me think twice about this. I love my TP2, but the Imagio is exactly what I'm looking for. Does anyone know if there were any major differences in HardSPL for the Touch Diamond and Pro? I'd imagine they'd put similar hardware in both of these.

Even if it's not immediately possible, I think I could live with it, considering we already get WM6.5 and what looks like TF3D 2.5.

Im with you man, Im definatly leaning toward this device.
And to be 100% honest with you. I flash ROMs so much I never really get to enjoy my phone, cause Im always setting it up, then reflashing, and losing all my bookmarks cookies etc all my history, bla, bla, bla,
Might be kinda nice to not have the option to worry about it for a while, lol!

this device is perfect for me. I have no desire whatsoever to have a hardware KB but with the TP2 there was no other option.....till now
