Will the Imagio work on Bell network

I'm looking at getting an Imagio and wondered if anyone knew if an unlocked one would work on the Bell Mobility network. I currently have an iPhone 3GS with a sim card with Bell so I'm assuming it should work. The differences between wcdma and gsm and sim cards has me confused.
Any help is appreciated.
