Computer won't recognize Imagio
 

Computer reconizes something is attaced but program won't engage to syc. Program does not recognize something is attached. Any suggestions?

Make sure your Settings/Connections/USB to PC is NOT set to disk drive

How about ....making sure Active sync or device center is set to accept USB connections. And try another USB port (maybe one thats noe through a hub).

Also, try unchecking any other boxes at Settings>Connections>USB, especially if you have "Enable faster data sync" or "Enable advanced network functionality" checked. It was unchecking the latter that got one of my more stubborn Vogues to be recognized, and then re-checking the box got it to sync.

Tried all that - no good. Tried new cable, tried two different computers. None of them recognize the Imagio.

try soft resetting it while its on the cable connected...

its kind of like when you need to reset your phone on the charger because when you plug it in you get the USBtoPC popup screen..

worth a shot.. all the other common answers have been given..

And your sure that your USB to PC Settings is setup like the one in the screen shot?

If you are using XP try removing Activesync and re-installing it. If you are using Vista/Windows 7 do the same, try un-installing Windows Mobile Device Center and re-installing it.

Have you tried using another cable --- or one you know that works with another phone?

Go to your control panel and choose the setting about hardware and mouse options, And you can change the multiple or your using occurs changing. Now you can access it's your ways.
