Audible stops when screen blanks

I was upgraded to the Imagio from the Touch Pro 2 by Assurion. I listen to books from Audible more than any other function. On the TP2 when the screen blanked Audible would still play.

However, on the Imagio when the screen blanks Audible stops playing. I have turned deactivated the "Turn off device..." function but the battery goes dead quickly.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this.
