It sounds like something you may have installed has changed the registry entry for the right softkey and now that application has been removed or un-installed but did not change the right softkey entry back to original. Unfortunately I can not find the registry entry.

Try this app. It is supposed to allow you to remap the softkeys to what you want.
SoftKey manager freeware for Windows Mobile Phone.
