SPB Mobile Shell not showing an app Icon

I am creating a link to skyfire, but SPB Mobile Shell isn;t showing the Skyfire icon, even though it worked prior to my Hard Reset and even though it shows all my other apps icons.

I created a shortcut to Skyfire and added it to windows\star menu, and it recgonizes that icon, which is weird.

Additionally, the icon shows up fine in Windows Programs and TF3D Programs. Just not in SPB MS programs.

Any insight?

Is it maybe in a folder? TF3D ignores and 6.5 does to.

The Skyfire shortcut icon is showing up in the Start menu folder in Windows properly. Oh well. Weird. I deleted that shortcut and renamed the "Shortcut to Skyfire" to "Skyfire" and all is well. I just like to understand why these systems have these errors.

Actually that only worked temporarily but the change messed itup.Can i delete registry items pertaining the the lnk?

Okay. So the shortcut works in SPB when installed to the device, but not to the SD Card.

I have the same issue. SPB doesn't show some of the icons, among them, "slide keypad sound", "security", "wifi", among a couple of others.

This happened to me after I upgraded to WinMo6.5. I have Sprint's 6.5 ROM and the latest version of the PSB MS.

Some of the icons have not been showing up for me too so I went and looked at the name of the icon's .png and noticed that the ones that didn't show had commas or other symbols. After deleting the symbols from the file name, the icons showed.
