background light stuck on 10seconds, wont change!

i intentionally put very few programs on it in an effort to avoid screwing up the phone. guess that didnt work!! i installed them all at the same time after i received the new phone. it seems no matter what i do i have some problem with this phone! i love the phone, the size, screen and capabilities are awesome, why wont the GD thing just work!!!

One more comment, just suck it up and start over. HR and check your lite issue. Then carefully reload stuff one by one. Give yourself enough time between each reload to verify your ok with the lite issue. Your right this is an awesome phone and if you haven't tried any custom roms yet you should. I have only reset my phone between rom installs. It has been one of the most stable wm devices I've ever had.

what should i use instead of spb backup? if i cant install programs on this POS im going to buy a cheap phone and run this one run over with the lawnmower.

WOW....... so it's the phone's fault? Probably not, but if you think it is, then you just call Verizon service, tell them what the problem is, they'll have you try a couple of things and then send you a new phone. It's really just that simple. I doubt however they'd replace it for lawnmower damage!
