Close the keyboard
Okay, so this may be the most n00b question you've heard all day, but...how do I close the virtual keyboard once it's open?? It get in the way a lot of times, but I cannot figure this out.

click the little keyboard button in the middle bottom of the screen.
it seems for some roms you have to click in the lower corner of the button to close it though, as clicking in the middle of the button will open the options for it up.

Touch the Keyboard Symbol or slight to the left of it (center bottom between left and right softkeys) and not the arrow point up that brings up a menu.

In the future, when you get stuck just start tapping and dragging different things. That's how you learn and there are always undocumented things that software will do if you do a little digging.
The worst thing that can happen is you might have to do a soft reset on your phone, but if you don't hunt around, you'll never really learn.
