sorry the picture came out small, but its on post 5 of that thread. also didnt attach the tapres file , ill try again here. had to zip it, so unzip it onto your desktop than add the tapres.dll to your windows file on your mobile device.

Two things 1. do i need to install sdkcerts? 2. If something does not work and i have to uninstall will the dll have to be deleted seperate from the remove feature? Also will hard reset get me back to day one all else fails. I have not had that great of luck with the taskbars if you havent noticed.

So i just have to save the unzipped dll to the windows file in my file explorer? does it have to be under anything or just in the window part?

can't answer you about sdkcerts, i already had it installed, you should rename your native tapres192.dll to something like tapres192.dll.bak then copy the unzipped version into the windows directory, this way you can alway get your original one back if you decide to uninstall the cab

and yes if you dont like it, uninstall the cab get your original tapres back and you should get your original top bar back

and finally if you hard reset you will have your original setting back as your phone came, a virgin. i have had to do this a few time, for other reasons, and its always worked. and of course you will need to soft reset after the cab and tapres192.dll are installed, good luck, its easy

dont forget to soft reset after the cab and tapres are intalled, then enjoy

so were to you find the tapres dll on the phone? Looked through the entire windows file and did not find anything.

in that case it may be included in the cab, its the set of new top screen icons, install the cab and then it should be there.

Ok so all of this is cofusing. I need it as simple as possible. if i use any of the tsowens taskbars they will work on the imagio. then if i copy the tapres192.dll to my window folder that will get the 3g icon?

cant answer for all of his cabs but i know that what you just stated is correct for tsowentaskbar6v1.1 and tsowentaskbar6v3.1. But if you use 6v1.1 it will change your spinning marble wait cursor to the original windows mobile wait cursor. 6v3.1 does not do that, it does not change the wait cursor.

Tried the tsowentaskbar6v3.1. but x button is way small and i could not get the dll transfered from the computer to the phone. is there any other taskbar that has the 3g besides the purple one? Like i said before this can not be the only taskbar that people have on the imagio. s004kcg appreciate the help , just not it. to many steps i dont know. Seems like they are coloring everthing on the phone yet no one talks about taskbars. to me that might be one of the most important.

@Ride33 -

I went through this search myself and there really aren't any taskbars out there that have the 3G symbol fixed right (which is why you're gettin little response to this request). The link toward the beginning of this post has a lot of great taskbars. They do work on the Imagio b/c I have tried several of them but almost none have the 3G icon (except tsowen's as previously mentioned). I would say feel free to PM one of the many taskbar developers either on this site or over at XDA for some help. Most of these guys are more than willing to help for a 'Thanks' or small donation. Unfortunately, bumping this thread every few days may not ever yield the results you are hoping for. Good luck either way!

BTW - If you find one... please update us!
