Sense (2.1.1920, 2.5.2012 and 2.5.2019) for the HTC Imagio!
**Caution: May or may not work on other devices, worse case scenario is another hard reset.**

Huge thanks to megapinky, maxtcee, cslawren, Mr X, Mike304 and everyone else who has staying up all night to help me get this thing going!

**VERY IMPORTANT** If restoring a back up, restore before installing Sense 2.5 or 2.1!

-typing with XT9 in HTC messaging can be slow at times, use ABC, another keyboard or WM messaging to avoid this lag

-Steps for Sense 2.5 2019 Installation (INSTALL ALL TO DEVICE MEMORY):
1. Install .net 3.5
2. Install SDKCerts
3. Disable Auto Phone Shutoff:
-If on battery power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and uncheck Turn off device if not used for
-If on external power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and uncheck Turn off device if not used for
4. Disable HTC Sense or TF3D 2.0 (Go to Start/Settings/Today/Items and uncheck HTC Sense or TF3D)
5. Soft Reset

6. InstallSense 2.5 2019 CFC / Sense 2.5 2019 CFC Mirror. Once settled in, it runs very well! It also includes some new tabs and many tweaks/goodies! Plus, the multimedia key is now mapped to rotate the screen)
7. Soft Reset

8. Once everything is loaded and stable:
Enable Auto Phone Shutoff:
-If on battery power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and check Turn off device if not used for
-If on external power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and check Turn off device if not used for

***CAUTION!*** Do not install appearance tweaks designed for any other version of Sense than what you have installed. Example: only install 2.5.2011 tweaks on 2.5.2011, only install 2.1 tweaks on 2.1 and only install 2.0 tweaks on 2.0. Installing incompatible tweaks will more than likely break the interface and you will be headed for another hard reset!

3. Install Total Commander or reg editor of choice
4. Disable Auto Phone Shutoff:
-If on battery power: Settings\System\Power\Advanced and uncheck Turn off device if not used for

5. Disable TF3D 2.0 (Go to Start/Settings/Today/Items and uncheck HTC Sense or TF3D)
6. Go to Start Menu/Settings, press and hold each icon and move to "top". This will allow you to access windows settings from the main Start page, otherwise they are not accessible.
7. Soft Reset

Has anyone been crazy enough to try on our imagios? It would require a hard reset and I'm not willing to do that right now unless it works well. The mentioned bugs are pretty big bugs.

Got it loaded , screen came up, looked like sense 2.5.
Takes forever to load and freezes before you can try anything out. must have reset 15 times before I gave up on it. It will need a lot of work before it will work on the Imagio. An 80 MB .cab is just too big for this phone.
Looks good on the phone but just doesn't work.

It is quit buggy, I really like the feel of it though and don't want to roll back to 2.0! When it is loading you need to be really patient and not press any buttons until it is loaded. I will keep playing with it at least until we get the unlocker) and hopefully figure out some of the bugs.

Also tried the sense 2.1 .cab and it wouldn't even load on the Imagio.
Tried 3 times and it kept saying installation was not successful because the program did not have correct system proficentcy. Whatever.

seems to load a bit faster if auto lock is disabled and tf3d turned off

Are you guys doing this on fresh hard reset with just the res proxy, nopifix, sdk certs, and netcf 3.5 installed?

fresh hard reset just got net 3.5 and total commander
seems to be working fine camera seems to be fixxed with leo camera fix

Just an update, after spending some time on 2.1 I find it very stable. The only bug I've found so is the weather not using AGPS. I am glad we have so many people willing to help in this community, I think we will be have a stable 2.5 in no time!

Does anyone know if it's possible to interrupt the customization process like it was on the Touch Pro? I'm sure it'd make this a lot easier.

Listen fellas, maxtcee is correct dharvey corrects the start menu issue, although to get to my file explorer to be able to install it I had to trick it out of sense by changing tabs then while sense rebooted I hit start and was able to get into it. You know the now finding location thing is really the only thing bothering me right now. I want those sexy animations on the home screen. You know right now sense is acting more stable than tf3d ever did. We will see what the story is tomorrow. I will report back. And now after soft resets it loads right up.

I may have found another bug. Anybody who has this running, can you check to see if you can receive mms? It might be something I did on my end, just want to verify.

I can receive, but I cannot send I get an error and manila crashes, this may be the deal breaker got to be able to text, I think there was a cab to disable manila messaging and go straight to win mo's. maxctee you are on the ball tonight know where we can find this quick?

Right now I can get email, receive text, get weather. Can't send text. Sometimes it crashes if I go into customize tabs. There is a little bug with the email bubble, nothing that can't be easily fixed. I think there are going to be too many problems with this build because it was made for wm6.1, it is very interesting though. I can't get gps to work at all. I will check in with everybody tomorrow. Bedtime for old people was 2 hours ago.

Make sure you set your location setting. Mine locked instantly. I updated quick gps. Tested with google maps.

I mean the process that installs all of the bloatware from the carrier. With the TP/WM6.1 it was possible by soft resetting at a certain point, I'm not sure if anyone's tried it with the Imagio. This also prevented TF3D from being installed, so it would help in this case.

takes a while to get it set up, but actually it is using less resources than our stock 2.0, there is no memory leak, just a few quirks. I'm telling you when we whip this up into roms it will be perfect. Right now the only I'm problem I'm having is that the manila sms client is not functioning, the device locks up when trying to send a text message, the native win mo one works great, we need to default this. I think there is a cab out there somewhere. It will be fully functional if we get this. In addition the my location weather is still not working but I consider that a luxury item anyway so who cares. I am hitting the sheets I'll check back in the afternoon.
