Is a MicroSD card necessary for putting custom ROMs on?

Title says it all, I'm debating whether I want to spend the money to get a card.

Not necessary at all, you can flash them from a PC via USB. I'd still recommend getting one though, otherwise your internal storage will fill up very quickly.

Re: Is a MicroSD card necessary for putting custom ROMs on?

Thanks.

I ordered one on Amazon last week but I'm going to return it because I found out this morning I have a spare one at my house after all, but I just was unsure last night whether I wanted to keep it or not.
