The thing is this.
If you can make it to this forum and post that question then surely you can click the call button and enter 911.
Am I missing something because 4 clicks to get 911 seems pretty easy... even if a barn door was laying on top of you. LOL

Don't mean to sound like a butt but REALLY?
You could even add 911 to a speed dial and take it to two clicks.
I just don't get it.

If you need 911 as often as to need it on speed dial I am staying away from you.

Re: 911 button

This thread has ROFLMAO. Wow, thanks OP!

What the OP is saying, "its a little late, I already had a huge need for a one-click to 911, how do I make it that way?
Get a keyboard remap program and re=program a hard key!

Re: 911 button

glad I'm good for a laff - I fell and hurt myself bad Friday. Surgery to put a long pin put in this coming week. Totally dependent on caretakers right now. But.........I can type one handed and was curious about if someone here could help me rig the Imagio to work like a panic button. Your brain has a lot of trouble with something as seemingly simple as getting to the phone function when you are in huge pain and shock

Re: 911 button

Thank sticks.
Hope you get to feeling better.

To be honest the first post was random and didn't really tell us anything.

Like I said the only thing I know to do is add it to speed dial.
You could also map it with a kb mapper as posted

Re: 911 button

To be honest, our emergency management agency recommends against a speed dial for 911; causes too many random calls, and every call has to be investigated. There was even a Public Service Announcement here in Middle Tennessee against it sometime last year on the radio.....
