Re: weather question

Maybe I have missed it but is there any way to remove or make transparent the weather background on the home screen? The transparent weather cab I installed works great for the weather tab but not for the homescreen weather. I have seen some screen shots with it removed but they maybe installed a theme or HDWalls. I would like to keep it a little more simple than that.

Copy from the windows folder the file: 2330fc3c_manila to your storage card, then move it to your computer. right click go to properties and untick the read only attribute. Copy the modded file back storage card and then from storage card back to windows and try again with the weather database editor.

You won't have to hard reset, it is a rom file so worst case scenario you go and delete the file I mentioned in the above post and you automatically get the original back. What city are you trying to add?
