Awesome man. Thanks for the update.

Re: Whitestone Android It Booted!!!
I'm definitely a noob when it comes to this kind of thing, so I think I'll steer clear of the IRC. Is there any other way I can show that there is demand for Android on the Imagio?
I'm also willing to help test\donate if this is a possibility. |
Re: Whitestone Android It Booted!!!
I will be willing to kick in a few dollars for Android on Imagio.

Re: Whitestone Android It Booted!!!
This reminds of an idea a coworker of mine mentioned a few months ago. In a nutshell, the wireless provider sells the phone (an HTC for example) without any operating system on it. You take the phone home, log onto either the provider's or the manufacture's website, register, then you could choose whether you want android, windows mobile, ect. Then you flash it to the phone.
I think it is an interesting idea. Of course, it opens the proverbial can of worms. People screwing up the flash process, which would be a pain in the butt for customer service. |
Re: Whitestone Android It Booted!!!
as long as they do a really good job with Android on Imagio... count me in for a donation :)

Re: Whitestone Android It Booted!!!
I wonder if the opposite of this is possible; running windows mobile on an android device?

Re: Whitestone Android It Booted!!!
I subscribed to this thread... I don't visit PPCGeeks very often, but I'll come back and donate to the cause, if somebody coordinates with htc-linux to get them what they need to add the Imagio to their supported devices.
