Text message count wont clear?

I cant get rid of the blue txt message counT, Ive deleted all the text messages, turned my imagio on and off, but still its there.
I dont want to do a hard reset beacuse Ive had my imagio flashed to cicket.

What did I do to get rid of the count when there isnt any messages there?
