Re: Opera 9.5 vs. 9.7 vs 10 Beta
I never used 9.7, but my experience is that 10 is a lot faster than 9.5. I think I have turbo active but I've read elsewhere that no one's seen much difference with it on or off.

Re: Opera 9.5 vs. 9.7 vs 10 Beta
imho mini5 beta2 is the only really useful browser for heavy use browsing sites or launching from email (see mortscript/jzbrowser). opera 9.x is dreadfully slow and 10 is slow (with turbo or without) plus crashes/exists with stock Imagio.
actually ie is more useful than opera 9 or 10 at this point imho. really sad. |

Re: Opera 9.5 vs. 9.7 vs 10 Beta
Wow, I'm surprised... I've been using Opera Mobile 10b2 on the Imagio and have been loving it. The initial load seems slightly delayed (enter an address, wait about 2-3 seconds before anything appears to happen), but I think the overall page loads are about the same.
And once loaded, the UI is the fastest I've used (out of IE, Skyfire and Operas). That page scroll is very responsive. I haven't encountered any crashes yet with 10b2; I crashed pretty regularly with 9.7. |

Re: Opera 9.5 vs. 9.7 vs 10 Beta
I too give a +1 for Opera Mobile 10b2, it has been the most solid of all of them and pretty fast in most cases to boot. Love the Start Grid with favorites. I would recommend people use the mobile versions of sites that are very graphic heavy unless you really want to see all of that stuff. Makes getting to your data much faster and easier. Either way it works fine though.

Re: Opera 9.5 vs. 9.7 vs 10 Beta
I installed v10 and it seems to work ok, but I can't change any settings. I hit the menu key and it grays out the webpage and nothing happens? Plus it give me the local host file error. Horndoctor which build of 9.5 are you using and do you have a d/l link for it? Many of the d/l links at xda are not working.
