New to modding phones

Hey, I've been a member here for a month or 3, but I've not done much besides lurk around occasionally. I'm starting to feel confident that I can handle some tweaks and what-not on my phone, but wanted to know what I should do as far as backing it up?

SPB backup? Sprite? SKTools? Etc? Which one should I use?

i have always used sprite just because they were the first one to come up with a good backup solution.

i think they all probably do the job though.

OK. I'll just take a look, I think I found a trial for each of them, so I'll see which interface I prefer.

What registry editors does everyone use?

I use SPB backup and it works flawlessly for me. I've had to change Imagio's twice now and the backup works great. Just do a full backup and your restore from the SD card. There are only a couple of minor phone settings it may not catch if you're changing phones but no big deal. Everything on your phone will be just how you left it. I feel very comfortable with the SPB and know that if I screw up my phone, it will be back to normal in 10 minutes.

I did the free trial on Microsoft Marketplace just to try it out. It will work 5 times for free.
