nope I rarely need to reset my phone. perhaps it is a cab or modification that you put or performed on your phone. the known memory leak causes a rare problem but that is the extent of my issues.

Re: Anyone else notice their phone getting worse and worse?
I'm very picky about what I install on my Imagio now that I've got it set up the way I like it, and I've noticed that when I'm not loading new cabs, it's very consistent performance-wise.
Sometimes I wonder if all the TP2 (or older) software we've been gobbling up is actually good for the Imagio. They're similar enough to work, but maybe not similar enough to work well. |

Yeah...you are probably onto something there. We are all getting buggy waiting for the unlock and roms which will follow. I know I have put a lot of junk on mine and half of it doesn't work. I would be proud of my pc or laptop if it was still running after installing this much junk made for the wrong architecture... hang in there! |

I haven't noticed a performance decrease, my phone has been running for 12 days now. (Since last hard reset and install)
I have noticed that the phone tends to "forget" settings....

Re: Anyone else notice their phone getting worse and worse?
I have noticed that I need to reboot my Imagio at least once a week. I have about a dozen cabs installed but I only install them right after I wipe the phone to start fresh. Otherwise, I am not constantly installing and uninstalling cabs. It runs the way I want it to most of the time but every once in a while it gets a little buggy and I need to reboot. It's really not a problem for me because I fly at least once a week so I turn it off on the plane.

Nope, not a problem. In fact, if anything, it seems to get better with age. I have installed a small number of tweaks and a new Opera browser but that's about it. I've never had to do a hard reset and only a handful of soft resets.

Re: Anyone else notice their phone getting worse and worse?
guys i mean just power cycling the phone or pulling the battery, i mean a total wipe out. i thought it may be the cabs so i tried running them clean and had the same issue.
on another note, the phone is very tough. i dropped it in the parking lot today (first drop) besides a subtle scratch on the screen, youd never know. thats impressive, esp for such a highend device. lord knows ill wind up getting a new one over that teeny scratch on the screen though haha, sighhhh |
