If you have .5 running well then just flash .6. No need to start over. You can rock .6 and its snappiness haha. I would nandroid backup just in case then flash .6.

partition just cause I don't want all the apps2sd crap on there when half of it won't connect back to the apps after flashing a new rom. at least that's my guess as to why some of those force closes come up. lets see what happens when i FRESH over top of Modaco....

I did a FRESH install right over modaco with no problems at all. you'll be able to tell intially at startup with the animations.

Yea, A2SD2 is nice, but it seems to only cause problems. Make sure you get all data off of sd card and then partition Fat32 only, unless you want to stay with a2sd2.

Force closes come from putting stock apks on the MR roms. He has that fixed so far. I had no issues!

I only hard reset sometimes as it seems to fix some weird things occasionally. Its cool how flashing is on android coming from wm.. im still not used to this flashing on top of roms thing.. :???:

Haha I am usually online after class, or in the boring classes hahaha. You're welcome bro. Only time I ever hard reset is if something is completely jacked haha. Otherwise I just go back to a nandroid restore where everything is working fine and go from there haha. I agree, Android is supreme in this field hands down.

I was running apps2sd for a while and was always getting force closes.. now that I stopped using it my phone seems so much more stable.. I was using it to conserve space but now I realize with the space saved from using these great chefs roms its not really needed unless you want 200 apps..lol

I keep calling it .5, but it was really the fresh addon for the splash animations, cleaned up rosie, etc that they made to add over modaco 1.1, not the actual FRESH ROM

Yeah, i backup my SD pretty often, so no worries there. So you are ok with running your 100 apps off the hard drive with no problems?

Exactly, many problems with a2sd2 for me too. Slowed apps was the main one. You make a good point, takes a crap load of apps to fill up the phone haha. After I put too many on my phone it takes a crap anyway. It actually breaks the phone and won't connect to the tower at all, giving me numerous force closes, if I put on more than 110 apps or something close.

ohhhh then THAT idk about. not sure how that works out. that might seem like a lilrico theme for WM on top of a WM 6.5 ROM.
