real diffrence between hero and moment?

i have read, watched and searched for a good answer and i am more in the weeds than before. they way i see it the main differences are the slider and chip.. oh and the ui. but i also read that the moment is just basic. i am coming from htc diamond so anything is going to be better. but in reality is losing the fancy ui for a slider and faster chip worth it? or is everyone who gets the moment going to hope for a custom rom to make it more like the hero to get all the perks in one phone?

i left out the camera do to the fact i have a real digi and dont care about it in a phone.

Re: real diffrence between hero and moment?

I think is 1.5!!!, and what about the fm radio?????
And if is 1.6, they are going to take long time to release a 2.0 update if they do it.....

Re: real diffrence between hero and moment?

my issue is i read to much. those who could just run into a store and by are lucky. if the rom chefs cook up a decent rom that might be better than the sense ui it would be a no brainer.

I guess the issue is, no one has started cooking roms. There is a lot of nice features on the Samsung. I am thinking about going to it. I love my Hero thou. I miss having a keyboard. This has become my major issue. The camera is nice on the phone but 3.2 vs 5 does not really matter at this point.

Re: real diffrence between hero and moment?

I was reading and not sure if true. The Moment does not have a Multi-touch display. Seems like a step back.

Re: real diffrence between hero and moment?

I'll take the glass screen with oleophobic coating on the hero over anything the moment has to offer.
