Re: Flash in Browser? Not Supported?
Well the hero supports flash light 3.1 (which is the equivalent of flash 7) and not "full" flash support (flash is up to version 10 now, I think). And some sites require flash 9 or flash 10 and that's why you get the little "f!" Until flash 10.1 from Adobe and the open screen project is released you are out of luck. Adobe is releasing it to oems this year, but you won't see it on devices till late q1 or early q2 at the earliest.

Hmmmmm.....try going to Yahoo! home page and off to the right, hit the movie link. A trailer should pop up on the top portion of the screen. That's where I get the F! Maybe that is what requires the full Flash 10, but in the demo on the Adobe site, that is the very page he uses as a demo. He double taps on the video and it launches the video in a landscape full screen mode. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/devices/...s/htchero.html# See if you can get it to work. Maybe it's just a setting I have messed up...but I checked everything a few times. |

Re: Flash in Browser? Not Supported?
I do believe it was the EU version, but it was an american video and I believe the EU Hero supports the same browser stuff the US version does, no?
