This is super tedious, but... I cleaned up my contacts manually. I uploaded my Outlook (Winmo) contacts into my Google contacts. This created plenty of duplicates, but Google does give you the option to merge contacts via the online interface. Just click on the two that are duplicates and you'll see the "merge" option. It's not foolproof, by any means, but hopefully you'll only have to do this once.

So this is the only lacking. I dont understand why. They have the cal sync for outlook. I would prefer if I did not need to sync to the phone. I guess I am expecting too much. cant talk. Me into winmo phone again thou.

ok there are a few bugs in it but i now sync my outlook to google and then google to my phone. it works and transfers the contact picture. it is only beta and it is free!!!! omg im extatic!

make sure you make backups of your contacrs before you try it. google should have a clean slate on the contacts and you need to do some adjusting of fields (pain in the pooper but it works) and then sync your outlook.

if you have troubles look at their release notes and comments. this will be a kick ass application for us that still use non web based email!

When I sync'd it, it dumped all my friend and family groups into my business group. Did I do something wrong?

I keep having trouble synching my contacts via Google.

I have 'My Contacts' group and another 'Mobile Contacts' group that I imported contacts from SkyDeck. Both these groups are the same.

When I sync, Google syncs ALL of my contacts, ALL 600. Under People->Groups I can only see the My Contacts and Mobile Contacts groups listed but I have no other options but to delete them.

What do I do?!! I want to sync ONLY either My Contacts or Mobile Contacts groups and leave the rest of ~500-600 out.

This is why I used SkyDeck since I had it on my previous WinMo/BB phone's so it was just easier to transfer my contacts to any phone I got. But I'd like to use Google now.

As far as I know it is all or none. If you kept them separated with Outlook then you could do it. There really is not a good tool for contact management.

does anybody know where i can download skydeck cab. file for touch pro 2 everytime i go too the website it does not have the application for windows mobile. any tips/feedback would be appreciated
