Lockscreen Wallpapers????
 

Why are they so blurry compared to the homescreen one?? On the preview it looks just fine but when i see it applied, it dont look the same when it comes to sharpness.... :banghead: (i really liked the red one that came stock but i dont like it on the lockscreen cuz of this)

Should I try a higher res one???

I just tried this on my device, the stock wallpapers did become pixelated. But when I used a wallpaper with hvga resolution it did not become pixelated. So I would suggest cropping the pictures to hvga (320*400 i believe) . Although remember to keep a copy of the orignal (because your home screen wallpaper is best at whatever resolution HTC gave you)

when i take pix in portrait mode and set them as lockscreen wallpaper they look just fine. not sure if that helps or not. i dont know if you were just trying to use stock wallpapers or what.

How come I don NOT get the option to use wallpapers for my lockscreen??? I have tried everything I know. I have seen it on others Hero's but I can't on mine...

well thats how you change the wallpaper for the lock screen. you must be doing something wrong. when you select lock screen, you should then choose the folder to look, then select the picture, then click set wallpaper. thats how I change the wallpaper for the lock screen

hvga is 320x480.

What he's saying is, you don't get to use the stock wallpapers, for the home screen, as the wallpaper for the lock screen. It takes you straight to the albums. My guess is because the resolution is different than the home screen. But I suppose you would be able to select a section so Idk why they wouldn't let you.

I use Menu>Wallpaper ... then choose Home or Lockscreen... and either option brings me to "Select an Album" which includes the "Wallpaper" (stock folder).......
